How to Install the Official TWRP on Android device?

How to Install TWRP on Google Pixel XL and Pixel XL?

The TWRP recovery is now available for Google Pixel sailfish and Google Pixel XL marlin. The TWRP flashing commands through fastboot have changed due to some partitions changes in the stock Android 7.1 Nougat system in Google Pixel. Here is the TWRP command:

fastboot boot path/to/twrp.img

You can use our above tutorial for Android for the complete procedure or here is a short tutorial on how to install the TWRP on Google Pixel (XL), provided, you have already unlocked the bootloader and rooted the device as well. So instead of the usual fastboot flash recovery twrp.img, you have to use the above.
