Google announced Android 10 Q beta 3 officially earlier this month for all the Pixel series phones. However, as the Pixel 3a devices were launched the same day, the beta system images were not available. Including the Pixel 3 series, there are a total of 21 devices with Android Q beta version from several other OEM manufacturers like Essential Phone, OnePlus, Sony Xperia, Nokia, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, LG, and more.
As for the pixel 3a and 3a XL, you can also sign up for Android Q beta 3 via the Android Beta enrollment site starting early June. Soon these devices will soon be eligible for over-the-air (OTA) updates.
For now, the only feasible option available to update Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL devices to Android Q Beta 3 is via system image download. The OTA update images are also not yet available.
Moreover, if you have already installed Q Beta 3 on your Pixel 3a (XL) devices and want to downgrade back to Android 9, then you may need to un-enroll or go back to the Pie release before June by manually flashing the factory images.
