It also sport the latest software Android 9 Pie out of the box and capable of upgrading to Android Q Beta 3. The main purpose of this device is to provide everyone with the popular Google camera at a low price. The internal hardware may not be the latest and greatest, but it sure does pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 (10 nm), Adreno 615 GPU, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. These are some decent configuration considering it is a mid-range phone.

Let’s move towards the camera. The selfie camera features 8 MP, f/2.0, 24mm (wide), 1.12µm sensor capable of HDR, and video recording at 1080p@30fps. The rear camera is a beast packed with 12.2 MP, f/1.8, 28mm (wide), 1/2.55″, 1.4µm, OIS, dual pixel PDAF sensor capable of Dual-LED flash, HDR, panorama, and video recording at 2160p@30fps or 1080p@30/60/120fps.

According to the renowned tech reviewer- MrMobile, the Pixel 3a has the same picture quality as that of the Pixel 3. So if you are not much into the latest hardware configuration and just want to take amazing photos, then the Pixel 3a and 3a XL is for you.
