Updated: Final Android Q beta 6 final firmware build is now rolling out for Google Pixel phones, Essential phone, OnePlus Phones (Beta 4), and more. Google I/O 2019 introduced several new features to the Google ecosystem – especially towards security and privacy for their customers. We saw newly added Assistant features, security and privacy policy implementations, new Nest hub devices, Android Q Beta official launch, and 2 new Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL launches. Our focus towards this articles is the latest Android Q Beta firmware update. This year, we see a total of 21 smartphones from several manufacturers receiving the Android Q. The download links and installation instructions are listed on the manufacturer’s individual websites below.

OEM manufacturers including OnePlus, Sony, Xiaomi, Nokia, Vivo, OPPO, Essential, LG, Techno Mobile, Asus, Huawei, Realme, and of course, Google have all released the new beta firmware for their flagships. Previous Android 9.0 Pie featured Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, new navigation system with swipe gestures, Smart Text Selection, advanced AutoFill, App Actions, App Timer, Wind Down,  DNS over TLS, and much more. We also got the new Google Camera 6.1 APK, Pixel Launcher or the Android P Launcher. The newest Android version 10 termed as Q Beta incorporates all the previous features, enhancements, improvements, and brings new features to the plate.

Android Q (Beta 3) features official support for 5G networks, Live Caption, Suggested actions in notifications, native Dark Theme, new and Full Gestural navigation system, advanced Digital Wellbeing, Focus Mode, Family Link, and much much more. Plus, the core Android functionality changes include:

  • Full support for Wi-Fi RTT accurate indoor positioning,

Google announced Android 10 Q beta 3 or developer preview officially for all the Pixel series phones today and download were available immediately. Several phones from other manufacturers were also included and eventually all the promised devices are now receiving Android Q beta builds. This includes the manufacturers like Essential Phone, OnePlus, Sony Xperia, Nokia, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, LG, and more.
