I accidentally hit the delete key on one of my photos while I was in the app and it permanently deleted the photo from my phone and google account without even asking me if I really wanted to delete it. Very disappointed and would not recommend the app to anyone.

If you are using Google Photos and accidentally deleted it, then you can easily recover it from the trash option.
