Updated July 18, 2019: The new Google Camera Mod by BSG now runs on Android 8.0/8.1 Oreo, with Night Sight enabled. The Advanced version by Arnova features more stability and better photo quality for OnePlus 6, Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi5s on Android 9.0 Pie. Moreover, Arnova and CStark camera MOD features Night Sight for Pixel devices and all other Android phones. You can now also enable Pixel 3 exclusive features like Slow motion, Night Sight, Photobooth and more on your Android phone using this trick.

Every year, Google releases the best camera module to the Pixel series phones. The latest Google camera app from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL packs a whole new range of features. It has been updated to v 6.1 and now targets Android 9.0 Pie. As for the latest Google Camera app, it is only compatible with Pixel series devices and the latest version cannot be installed on other devices directly. Thanks to developer Arnova, we now have the first build of the latest Google Camera app v6.0 ported to all Android phones running 9.0 Pie or later.

This Google Pixel 3 Camera mod not only works on the official stock firmware for Essential Phone PH-1, OnePlus 6/6T, Nokia 7 Plus, Pixel 2, OG Pixel, or Sony Xperia XZ2, but also works on custom ROMS like Lineage OS 16, Pixel Experience 9.0 Pie, Resurrection Remix, and more. Features working with this build are:

  • Portrait mode works (front and back camera)
  • Motion photo works (front and back camera)
  • Camera (HDR+, Flash, Front Camera, Zoom, Autofocus, etc.)

Also note that this is the second beta build. Download Google Camera with Night Sight

Thanks to developer cstark27, we now have the Night Sight from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL to us. Now, note that this only works on Android 9.0 Pie, and most importantly, optimized for the Google Pixel series devices. If you are looking for Android Oreo working device, look below.

Download Google Camera 6.1 from Pixel 3 for Android 8.0/8.1 Oreo or later

The following Google Camera 6.1 BSG Mod has been tested working on Android 8.0 Oreo and Android 8.1 Oreo. You can also run it on Android 9.0 Pie. Now, not all the Android devices will work. This is meant for Snapdragon processors. So may not work well with other SoC like Exynos on Samsung, MKT, etc.

How to use?

First, when you install the app, launch it, got to more > Settings > BSG Mod Settings and change the Input Model to anyone you desire. Note your Android phone’s SoC and camera and select the best option for front and rear camera. Once done, force stop or force close the camera app and launch again.
