Genshin Impact 3.1 is one of the biggest updates and is story-driven with many new characters, and closely follows the story of the newly unlocked region called Sumeru.

Sumeru is one of the seven regions in Teyvat. It is the area of death, mystery, and technology. At first impression, the desert of Sumeru appears desolate and lifeless. The enormous King Deshret Mausoleum is located in the middle of the desert. Even though King Deshret and his ancient civilization are dead, the Desertfolk still recount his traditions and inventions, and machines and robots protect his final resting place.

Beneath the scorching sand lies a large number of dungeons, challenging trespassers with unseen puzzles, mechanics, and robotic guardians powered by ancient technologies of King Deshret. 

Genshin Impact version 3.1 – officially named “King Deshret and the Three Magi” – will be available for download on September 28. Three Sumeru characters: Candace, Cyno, and Nilou will join the cast of playable characters.

We already saw the likes of Cyno and Collei in the previous Genshin Impact 3.0. If you have already saved a bunch of Primogems, you can now wish for Cyno and Collei in the 3.1 update!

Most importantly, miHoYo also announced the new Genshin Impact Anime series!

Character Banners

Genshin Impact 3.1 update will feature Venti and Albedo Banner reruns. As for the new characters, the 5-Star Cyno, 5-star Nilou, and 4-Star Candace.

If you are a Windows user, you can download the Genshin Impact update before its official release.

• Download and install the latest game launcher from above.
• Open the game launcher.
• Click on the settings or gear icon on the right sidebar.
• Go to Game Updates.
• Download the latest update.
