Windows 11 22000.160 ISO Download Directly from Microsoft Servers

Microsoft just released a minor update to the Windows 11 Insider Preview Dev Channel with build 22468 today. It features loads of bug fixes, system optimizations, and app improvements on top of the previous Windows 11 22463 build. It also brings two minor changes. So you can bet this is a minor update and can be downloaded from All Settings > System Updates without needing the ISO. Alternatively, download Windows 11 ISO 22468 build from below if you need it right now.

The Windows 11 build does bring two new changes and improvements:

  • Upon clicking VPN connection under VPN Settings, you will now see some stats about the connection.
  • Added an option to turn off showing recent searches when hovering over the Search icon in the Taskbar. The option is under Taskbar behaviors in Taskbar Settings.

The rest are bug fixes related to Taskbar โ€“ Mitigated a rare explorer.exe initialization hang related to loading the network icon. File Explorer โ€“ Double-clicking a network folder to open it will no longer unexpectedly try to pin it to Quick Access instead of opening it. Search reliability. Settings โ€“ Your preferred microphone input format setting (as configured in Sound Settings) should persist upgrade now. Addressed an issue where certain drives were unexpectedly not displaying in Defragment and Optimize Drives.

Other bug fixes include:

  • Weโ€™ve resolved the issue preventing MDM enrolled PCs from successfully updating to the previous build. These devices are now unblocked from updating to the latest build.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause unexpected flickering in certain apps such as Microsoft Edge when using multiple monitors with different refresh rates.
  • Mitigated a display related issue that was causing some Insiders to experience an increase in bug checks in recent flights.
  • Did some work to address an issue where the Windows Update icon in the Taskbar might display but suddenly disappear when you hovered over it.
  • Addressed a rare issue with certain devices after sleep where Wi-Fi would get stuck in an off state and trying to toggle it back on wouldnโ€™t work.
  • Mitigated an issue for certain devices that could cause the system to freeze in some scenarios.

Known Issues and Solutions:

  • There is a known issues of users updating from Builds 22000.xxx, or earlier, to newer Dev Channel builds using the latest Dev Channelย ISO, may receive the following warning message:

The build you are trying to install is Flight Signed. To continue installing, enable flight signing.

If you receive this message, press the Enable button, reboot the PC, and retry the update.

Download Windows 11 ISO Insider Preview Build 22468 From Microsoft Servers

Microsoft is now seeding the latest Windows 11 ISO downloads directly on their servers. So download and install Insider Preview Build 22468 ISO from the Dev channel directly from Microsoft Servers.

There are three editions of Windows 11 (from Windows 10) that you can download directly from Microsoft. These include Windows 11, Windows 11 Enterprise, and Windows 11 Home (China); from three channels โ€“ Dev, Beta, and Release Preview. You can download the Windows 11 Insider Preview ISOs from the following link.

Step 1: Go to Microsoft website and Register for the Windows Insider Program.

Step 2: Head over to the Windows Insider Preview ISO Download page.

Step 3: Create a Windows 11 ISO.

This is a free Windows 11 upgrade for eligible Windows 10 systems. All you need to do now is become a Windows Insider and switch to the beta channel for a more stable experience.

You can switch to the Dev Channel or Beta Channel to get an OTA update on your Windows 10 PC.

However, Windows 11 still has eligibility criteria where your device needs to have Secure Boot and TPM 1.0 enabled in order to get the Windows 11 upgrade directly from Microsoft. In order to bypass this, download the latest ISO from below.

Notes to download: The one marked with x64 is for Intel/AMD processors. The one marked with arm64 can run on any ARM device like an Android phone or tablet.

Note 2: For cumulative updates, simply go to Settings > System Updates > and get the incremental update from there. No need to download a complete ISO. If you do want to download ISO, we recommend visiting our previous Windows 11 post here.
