The story so far…
OnePlus 6 and 6T had been through a number of bad updates this year, especially with the latest Android 10 OS update. The bugs in Oxygen OS 10 firmware kept on bricking or bootlooping the devices. The two smartphones received Oxygen OS 10 at the beginning on this year (2020) which was later put on hold. Followed by an immediate Oxygen OS 10.3.1 HotFix OTA for the OnePlus 6 only to get cancelled again. After the OnePlus 6 Oxygen OS 10.3.1 Hotfix update became stable, it laid the foundation for Android 10. Seeing this update to be quite stable, the manufacturer later moved onto security patch updates from February 2020 switch Oxygen OS 10.3.2.
