One UI 6.1 Galaxy AI Firmware Update

Samsung showcased several new Galaxy AI features in collaboration with Google at the Galaxy S24 series launch event. The Galaxy AI features come with Samsungโ€™s latest One UI 6.1 firmware update. While the new firmware is already rolling out to many Galaxy devices, the official global rollout for One UI 6.1 update is scheduled for May 6, 2024, and a wider rollout by May 14, 2024.

One UI 6.1 firmware update went live for the Galaxy S23, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 recently; alongside the Galaxy S22 series, S21 series phones, and the Galaxy Foldable series in South Korea this week. Samsung released a list of devices to receive One UI 6.1 starting May 2024. Looks like Samsung is keeping their promise.

The Galaxy AI One UI 6.1 Software update just rolled out for the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Z Fold4, Z Flip4, and the Galaxy Tab S8 series in South Korea this week. However, it may have been paused due to lock screen bugs.

One UI 6.1 Rollout Schedule

According to one Twitter user CID, One UI 6.1 for Galaxy S21 FE, A53, A54 in CANADA will be available by May 14, 2024. This means, the European and Asian countries will start receiving the update from May 6, 2024.

The One UI 6.1 update is expected to resume next week by May 6, 2024 for a global rollout.

The new update comes with AI features like Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion and AI-Generated Wallpaper.

It is speculated that Samsung roll out One UI 6.1 in other regions including Europe, North America, and Asian countries starting tomorrow or at the most May 6, 2024 across the globe including the United States.
