Are you ready to embark on a remarkable journey in the world of portable technology? Look no further than the DOOGEE T20 Mini Tablet. Crafted with innovation and designed to impress, this mini-sized tablet is set to revolutionize your tablet experience.
I have been using the T20 Mini for well over two weeks now and I must admit that the tablet has seamlessly integrated into my daily regimen. I find myself reaching for the tablet more often than my phone.
Whether it’s consuming the morning news, watching my favorite podcasts, or casually just scrolling through social media, the tablet is better in every way possible — thanks to its compact design. It’s very easy to carry around and also has a larger battery backup that accompanies me throughout my day.
So let’s dive into the key features that make this tablet a must-have companion.
What’s in the box?
The box contains the tablet, a Type-A to Type-C USB cable, a charging brick, and a SIM card ejector. Yes, it supports Dual SIM cards.
Mini-size Design with 7.4mm Ultra-thin Body
The DOOGEE T20 Mini Tablet boasts a sleek and compact design with a remarkable 7.4mm ultra-thin body. Weighing just 330g and measuring 202.5×125.8×7.4mm in dimensions, it’s truly a compact tablet.
The T20 Mini design reminds me of the new iPad Mini. The side bezels are narrow making it about 84.6% screen-to-body ratio.
The T20 Mini feels premium as it comes with an all-metal body, most likely aluminum.
The tablet has a bit of weight to it and the structure feels rigid. It goes without saying that the tablet can withstand daily usage without a case. I have used it without a case for a over 2 weeks now without a scratch.
Don’t be fooled by its small size; this tablet packs a powerful punch.
Mini Size, Big Screen with 8.4″ FHD+ Display
With an 8.4-inch FHD+ display boasting a screen-to-body ratio of 84.6%, an aspect ratio of 16:10, and a high resolution of 1200×1920 pixels, the DOOGEE T20 Mini Tablet delivers stunningly vibrant and rich colors.
This is more than the standard FHD (1080p) resolution in most displays you find on other tablets.
The tablet is pretty bright. Even in an outdoor setting, you can clearly see everything on the tablet. The only downside is that I could not see an auto-brightness option anywhere in the settings. So I had to manually crank the brightness all the way up from the quick settings panel.
Though it’s small, the DOOGEE T20 Mini Tablet excels at various tasks, from content consumption to mobile office work and some games as well.
Dual SIM card support
I was really surprised to see cellular support for such a low price. The DOOGEE T20 Mini Tablet offers the convenience of dual SIM card support, allowing you to use two different phone numbers simultaneously.
But that’s not all. The SIM card tray doubles as a expandable storage as it supports microSD card as well. meaning you can easily increase the tablet’s storage capacity by inserting a microSD card up to 1 TB!
Widevine L1 Support and Dual Stereo Speakers
Support for Widevine L1 is a blessing. High-definition videos complement the screen. Watching high-resolution videos is a breeze.
Equipped with dual stereo speakers, the tablet offers a captivating soundstage. It is much better to watch YouTube, movies, or news on the T20 Mini tablet than on your phone. It elevates your audio experience to new heights.
5060mAh Large Battery
With a powerful 5060mAh battery, the DOOGEE T20 Mini Tablet ensures it’s always ready to tackle any task or project. Whether you’re working, creating, or playing, you can do so without missing any exciting moments.
SONY 13MP Main Camera and 5MP Front Camera
To be honest, I wasn’t impressed with the camera quality on the DOOGEE T20 Mini. It’s a tablet after all and most tablets are terrible at capturing photos. It’s a standard 13 MP Sony lens that can capture decent pics of your pets.
The front camera is just bad. But it can be decent for video calling. You wouldn’t want to post on social media using photos or videos captured by the T20 Mini.
Powerful Octa Core Processor and Ample RAM
The T20 Mini is powered by Spreadtrum T606 octa-core processor, which is impressive and hasn’t lagged on me once yet. The OS is quite optimized for the processor. In order to support this, the tablet comes with 4 GB of DDR4 dedicated RAM.
However, you may want to enable an additional 5 GB of virtual RAM to add up to 9GB of RAM which is a must for multitasking, and running demanding apps. This will keep apps running in the background for longer so you can easily switch between them.
128GB ROM + 1TB Expansion Storage
Never Run Out of Space
Store all your high-resolution videos, photos, and files with the tablet’s 128GB storage. Need more? Expand it with a microSD card for up to 1TB of additional storage.
Android 13 Operating System
Smoother User Experience
The T20 Mini comes with a barebone Android 13 OS with all the Google apps pre-installed. As there is little to no bloatware, this makes the firmware snappy and enhances stability and overall performance.
There are a few perks from DOOGEE that are baked into the operating system like the tablet mode for multi-tasking, Memory Expansion for virtual RAM, Screen Saver to turn your tablet into a photo album, or a digital clock.
Tons of connectivity options
As for the connectivity options, the DOOGEE T20 Mini tablet features dual 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz), USB-C, 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and more.

- The screen presents an intriguing phenomenon. Upon closer inspection, pixels become discernible when viewing the screen from angles between 20 and 50 degrees. However, at a straight-on 90-degree angle, the image is crystal clear, as if there’s a singular, well-defined screen right before you. It gives the impression of two screens layered at a distance.
- The processor is pretty fast but not good enough for gaming. Genshin Impact runs at the lowest settings.
- RAM could have been more. The virtual RAM thing helps a lot but also uses internal storage.
- Camera could have been better
Here is a list of bugs that I noticed while using the DOOGEE T20 Mini tablet, which can easily be fixed via software updates.
- No auto-brightness feature
- No double tap to wake or sleep. This is a pretty handy feature when you don’t want to unlock your phone and just want to check the lock screen for time or notifications.
- Waking up the tablet while it’s resting on a flat surface rotates the screen upside down.
To sum up, the DOOGEE T20 Mini stands out as an exceptional value at a mere $130, especially when you apply the MINI145 code. This exclusive discount slashes the original price from $275 to just $130, making it an unbeatable deal!
