3. Latest Samsung Expert RAW APK Download

At the Galaxy S22 and the Galaxy Tab S8 series launch event, Samsung also showcased a brand new camera app called Expert Raw. As the name suggests, Expert Raw is a companion app to the stock Samsung Camera app which enables capturing RAW images; alongside other features like low light photography. It is basically a Google Camera (GCAM)alternative for Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

Today, Samsung released a new update to the Expert Raw app with version 2.0.00.3 in support of the newly launched Galaxy Z Fold4. The previous Expert Raw v2.0 supported Android 13-based One UI 5.0 firmware. It may also support previous flagship phones including Galaxy S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, and Z Fold 2.

While the Expert Raw app has been available for long, it was in a beta app and only supported a couple of smartphones. Now that Expert Raw is stable, it supports many Samsung devices including the Galaxy S22 Ultra, S22+, S22 or S21 Ultra, Galaxy Fold 3, and Z Fold 4.

According to one Samsung community Mod (South Korea) – named Camera 1 charge – Samsung is working on bringing Expert Raw support for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in the next update.

Apart from the Fold 4 device support, the update also features:

1. Setting value saving function (Custom Preset)

By referring to the various suggestions related to shooting settings, when shooting with Expert RAW, the camera setting values changed by the user are saved.

A new function to save settings that can be used again for the next shooting will be added.

We hope that you can use Expert RAW more conveniently by saving frequently used camera settings!

2. Save format

Expert RAW provided results in both RAW and JPEG formats at the same time.

There are cases where it is inconvenient to store two types of results.

We are planning to add a ‘ Save Format ‘ menu in the settings menu where users can select the desired format .

You can choose to create RAW or JPEG only and you can also save both as before !!

Samsung’s Expert Raw camera app has become very popular as it gives photographers a way of accessing the uncompressed data of an image (called RAW), straight from the camera sensor.
