Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ & S20 Ultra OneUI 3.1.1 feature update

Samsung unveiled two new foldable smartphones earlier this month โ€” the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 โ€” featuring the latest OneUI 3.1.1 firmware update. One UI 3.1.1 is a new feature update with updated apps, smoother or faster animations, support for new foldables, VoNR support, and several system improvements. Samsung is now expanding this OneUI 3.1.1 feature update to older Galaxy smartphones including Galaxy S20, Note 20, S10, and Note 10 series phones via latest Android security patch level.

Last week, Samsung released this update for the Galaxy S21 series via August security patch weighing over 1GB in size. T-Mobile variants of Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra are now receiving OneUI 3.1.1 features via latest August 2021 security update. While Samsungโ€™s August 2021 patch wonโ€™t increment the build number to OneUI 3.1.1, it has most of its features.

According to Samsung community members, this is the best update ever because it brings several system optimizations like faster and smoother animations, quick app launch, a new weather app, Bluetooth menu now launches faster, new โ€œBedtime modeโ€ toggle in QS, quick camera app launch, and most importantly VoNR support on T-Mobile network carrier and other regions.
