Today, Samsung released OneUI 3.1.1 firmware update to the entire Galaxy S21 series via monthly August 2021 Android Security Patch update.

This comes as a surprise as rumors had it that the current Galaxy smartphone range may not receive OneUI 3.1.1, but instead, will directly jump to OneUI 4.0 based on Android 12.

It brings several system optimizations like faster and smoother animations, a new weather app, Bluetooth menu now launches faster, new “Bedtime mode” toggle in QS, quick camera app launch, and most importantly VoNR support on T-Mobile network carrier and other regions.
