Samsung Galaxy OneUI 3.1.1 software update

Samsung just recently held a second Galaxy Unpacked event wherein the OEM launched 2 new foldable smartphones called Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. Both the devices run on the latest OneUI 3.1.1 firmware update with new features, several system improvements, and tweaks. Today, Samsung released OneUI 3.1.1 firmware update to the entire Galaxy S21 series via monthly August 2021 Android Security Patch update.

This comes as a surprise as rumors had it that the current Galaxy smartphone range may not receive OneUI 3.1.1, but instead, will directly jump to OneUI 4.0 based on Android 12.

Regardless, OneUI 3.1.1 is a stunning upgrade and a must have according to sources. It brings several system optimizations like faster and smoother animations, a new weather app, Bluetooth menu now launches faster, new โ€œBedtime modeโ€ toggle in QS, quick camera app launch, and most importantly VoNR support on T-Mobile network carrier and other regions.
