Download and Install Disney+ APK on any Android device from any location

Disney started their own streaming service today called Disney+ in competition to Netflix. It features Disney classics, Disney+ Originals, and all the new releases from, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. Disney+ launched today in the United States with a bang and users have already started using it. It features many episodes and movies in 4K HDR that would look stunning on your Android smart TV, smartphone or a tablets. So download the latest Disney+ APK from below and see how to install it on any Android device in any country.

For countries where the Disney+ service is readily available, you can download and install it directly from the Play Store on any Android device. However, if your device isn’t supported by Disney+ or the streaming service isn’t available in your country, then you will need to manually install the app. You will also need a VPN service, change your device location to USA, and create an account with Disney in order to access the service. If you are comfortable with all of this, then proceed with the following tutorial.

Now, Disney+ isn’t a standalone app. As it is a streaming service, it comes with some supporting packages called config files. Here in this tutorial we will show you how to install Disney+ APK on any Android device regardless of the location or country you are currently residing in. This is also helpful if you are beta testing a software for Android or your Android TV doesn’t have Play Store.

Disney+ is not a standalone app. The base app comes with two more supporting config packages. You will need to combine these apps to use Disney+ streaming services. If you are installing from Play Store, then you will get the complete package. However, if the Play Store says that “This app isn’t compatible with your device”, then download the APK from below and combine them using using an app called Split Installer.

  1. When installing on an Nvidia Shield Tv it installs but the app does not open screen turns black and immediately closes.

      1. Actually it was not there even when using as vpn. So what I did to get it was.
        Connect vpn
        Logged out of playstore.
Created a new Google play account logged in. And installed. Logged out logged in with my main account.

  2. When i installed, it is working fine on my android box on os 7.1 but it doesn’t have sound. how can we get this to work? thanks

    1. Looks like the problem is with the Disney+ app. Many are facing the same problem. The good news is, they have addressed the issue and may soon release an update. Checkout the 1 star reviews here:

Here is one of the reviews:

Currently it is not working with the Android TV (Dolamee D7). The problem is that the sound most often does not work, whereas the videos play fine. For example, for Micky Mouse club, sound and video work, but most other shows (including blockbuster movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean) have no so…

  3. Does anyone have a fix for the audio issues on all Android Media Players which require this install. I have tried 6 different boxes all the same no audio when streaming issue.

    1. If your Android TV is updated, go to the Play Store link and see if you can download it from there. And if it tells your device is not compatible or not available in your country, exit the Play Store and go back in. It should refresh and be available to you.

  4. I have been having the same problem with no audio on any of my Android boxes except for older shows like Mickey Mouse club but I stumbled across a temporary fix. If you start to download any video then as its downloading you go back and start streaming it, it plays perfect!!! Very strange but allows you to watch anything immediately without having to wait for the download to finish, then you can just delete the download. Seems DIsney is working on a better fix but for now this works for me.

    1. I just noticed this too! yes if i hit download then go straight to play it has full sound. If i delete it and hit play again then it stops working again no sound.

  5. Installed on android box with 5.1 using the 3 files and splitter, installed no problem and app loads, but when I try to stream video it is just blank with arrow spinning in middle , then downloaded video but when trying to play does same thing … there certain hardware requirements or just some kind of issue with my android box compatability with the video files ? Is there a certain video player required didnt think I seen any spots in the app where to select one.

        1. Thanks for update, unfortunately didn’t seem to fix my issue, must be some kind of issue with my hardware or video software on my box, videos still wont play just the loading symbol keeps spinning

          1. Also mine problem… anyone fix it..?the loading symbol keeps spinning.
When it was certified for all devices??

  6. Thanks for positing these instructions, I was able use my phone despite the play store my phone was incompatible.

If the app gets updated will I be able to update via the traditional way?

    1. I tried 1.1.4 no sound still but if i try the temp fix from the other user below, it plays if i hit download first then go to play. if i delete it while downloading and hit play again, no sound again.

  7. Ok.. I have to know.

Do these links also include the Android TV app?

Because I tried installing the 1.1.3 update and it installed the phone version not the Android TV version. I’m on NVIDIA SHIELD.

      1. Aha.

Because I tried installing 1.1.3 last time and I installed the mobile version.

So I just download all 3 files, put them on a USB and install them with SAI on SHIELD?

          1. So yeah…

I did what you said (and also what was specified) and it of course installed the mobile version.

After doing it, it disappeared from my feed and I couldn’t start it.

Isn’t it supposed to be separate?

I’m trying to install it on Nvidia SHIELD.

  8. i did the install 1.2.0 from box mirrors on to my MXQ Pro box, but I do not get any sound in english?? If I change to another language I get sound. Any ideas?

  9. I just did the install 1.2.0 from box mirrors on to my MXQ Pro android TV box and still no sound, any ideas what I can do to fix this?

  10. I follow instructions, is my 3rd attempt with different apk and apps, I try even apkpure… Disney plus is installing in my android box but why half of the shows are without sound??? Driving me nuts. the girls were watching Helena and it works perfectly, tryed to watch TOGO the new movie or Micky mouse races and is no volume there

in my tablet I download directly from google store and works perfectly

  11. Has anyone managed to get Disney+ to install on a Sony 2015/2016 Android 4K TV?

I tried using the method of copying the apk backup file from my Samsung mobile but I just keep getting errors.
