The Beta programs are basically enrolled for testers who actually have the eligible device to test the upcoming software update. Following Google’s Developer Preview, many manufacturers like Samsung, Sony, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and many more started rolling out Beta builds. This happened to Android 7.0 Nougat and now its happening with Oreo. The latest manufacturer to push the Android 8.0 Oreo beta firmware update is Nokia.

Under Nokia’s BetaLabs, the manufacturer started enrolling beta testers for the Nokia 8 users. The company has also confirmed the same for other devices like Nokia 3 , Nokia 5, and Nokia 6. The latest update brings all the Oreo goodies and latest security patch level. The full changelog is listed below.

The company’s Chief Product Officer at HMD (the subsidiary of Nokia)quoted on Twitter confirming the Beta Labs’ existence.
