With its US and European counterparts already running on the latest Android has to offer (No, Android O isn’t ‘officially’ out), the Australia telecommunications company Telstra will finally be releasing Android 7.0 Nougat for the HTC 10 in the land down under. The announcement, which was made on the micro-blogging site Twitter, was cryptic and did not provide details regarding either the size or the version of the firmware that would be pushed for the update

The update comes four months after the US carriers T-Mobile and Sprint released Nougat for their devices and six months since its release for the unlocked variant. Although no changelog is provided by the Taiwanese manufacturer, expect features like Multi-Window, Enhanced Doze and Enhanced Notifications to come with it.

The update should hit our readers in Australia in about a week. If you feel you have missed the OTA, head over to Settings > System Updates > HTC Software Update > Check Now and hit Ok to download the latest firmware.
