Latest Nothing OS 3.0 Patch Fixes Delayed Notifications on Nothing Phone 2

A new Nothing OS 3.0 update 2 just rolled out for the Phone 2, and possibly soon for the Phone 2a, featuring a bunch of critical bug fixes. The new software update comes in a small package of 60 MB in size with build Nothing OS V3.0-241226-2001. The changelog is listed below, also download OTA.

The much-anticipated stable Nothing OS 3.0 finally rolled out last month. Following the successful completion of the Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta Programs for the Phone 2 and Phone 2a, the company has officially rolled out the stable Android 15 firmware update for these devices.

The full changelog and feature list remains the same from the Open Beta 1 as all the features have already been implemented in the beta program. The Nothing OS 3.0 brings redesign across the system including Homescreen, Lockscreen, Quick Settings, new Smart Drawers, and most of all Android 15 and all of its features.

However, the last update has some bugs which needed immediate attention. Today, Nothing Tech released a hotfix OTA for stable Nothing OS 3.0.

The new update fixed compatibility with certain smartwatches. Improved the usages of in-app back gesture for certain scenarios where it would be difficult to use the navigation gesture. Most importantly, it fixed the delayed notifications for Nothing OS 3.0!

  • 🔔 Swipe down incoming notifications to enter the pop-up view. Allows you to quickly view information without leaving your current app. Enable via Settings > Special features > Pop-up view.
