While Microsoft is gearing up for a busy year with the release of Windows 11 version 24H2, RTM build is already available for the Windows Insiders. Here are some of the features we know so far:

AI Explorer

AI Explorer is a searchable memory function that allows users to search for past activities on their computer using natural language. It can access and organize information across apps, documents, photos, and webpages.

This feature enables users to search through their digital log all the activity they have done on their computer in the past few days. It can retrieve specific files by giving contextual commands to the AI. For example, finding music, photos, videos, etc. by just describing the file or the time to the AI.

Live Captions

In addition to AI Explorer, Microsoft is introducing improvements to live captions and generative AI. Live captions will soon have the ability to translate languages in real-time. Meanwhile, advancements in generative AI promise to empower users with new creative tools such as image creation.

Windows for Arm

Windows 11 will expand to more on Arm based PCs. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Series SoC will be coming to laptops and PCs. However, be careful as it may not support all the hardware and may not be a daily driver as it is too early for the Windows 11 24H2 build.
