Google Pixel 5

Google is about to release their 2020 flagship phones called the Pixel 5 and Pixel 5 XL. The Pixel 4a was set to release earlier this month (July 2020) alongside the Android 11 public beta. However, due to some reasons, the launch event got postponed with no ETA for the release date. Rumors have it that the Pixel 4a may just release with the Pixel 5 lineup and may even be re-branded to Pixel 5a. Regardless, here are the exclusive and first Pixel 5 and Pixel 5 XL renders.

The Google Pixel 5 is rumored to not come with flagship grade specifications especially for the hardware configuration. This is because the Pixel 5 is supposed to be a mid-range featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765 chipset, supposedly 5G enabled. It will come in smaller dimensions 144.6mm long, 70.4mm wide and 8mm thick with a screen size of 5.78 inch. The Pixel 5 may also come with a higher refresh rate OLED display and QHD resolution.

While we will know more about the Pixel 5 specifications later at launch, here we have the first Pixel 5 renders. Thanks to Pigtou in source below.

The Google Pixel 5 XL, on the contrary, will be a full fledged flagship phone with high end specifications for both – the hardware and software configuration. The Pixel 5 XL will feature Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 865 chipset processor with support for 5G onboard. It will come in larger dimensions – 153.8 mm in length, 74 mm in width and 8.5 mm thick and a screen size of 6.12 inch. The Pixel 5 will also come with a higher refresh rate OLED display panel and QHD resolution.
