This Xiaomi Mi A1 Ported Camera App currently brings v1.3 of the APK. We have mentioned the changelog as provided by the developer. And this amazing development was carried out by developer stars2. Kudos to him for his hard work. Although some features are bit bugged up and still under development, most of the features work perfectly fine.

Bugs/Features under development: Xiaomi Mi A1 Ported Camera App
The features which are a bit buggy as of now but under development are,
- Effects of Front Camera not working. (Try rebooting Your device, it might work)
- Age and gender do not work on the photos.
- Timestamp bug.
- Must allow all permission to install, otherwise, the App will not work correctly.
- This application is currently designed/ported for working on Xiaomi MI 5 Gemini.
- To use with full features on other devices, you have to rename this file in the Apk.MiuiCamera.apk/assets/device_features.xml/gemini.xml
You have to rename that file name to Your respective Xiaomi device.

Following the v1.3, the standalone APK have been discontinued. Now a TWRP flashable zips of camera all have been deployed. Hence, you will need TWRP recovery setup.
Note: As the Android One is based on stock AOSP sources and not MIUI, they won’t work on stock MIUI 8/9. You will need Lineage OS 14.1/15 or AOSP based on Nougat or Oreo only.

How To Install Xiaomi Mi A1 Ported Camera App?
Step 1: Make sure you have TWRP installed.
Step 3: Download the camera app from above and transfer to phone storage.
Step 4: Reboot into TWRP
Step 5: Take a full backup
Step 6: Flash the camera app zip
Step 7: Reboot to system
Note: To uninstall the camera app, flash the uninstaller.
