Download & Install Resurrection Remix 5.8.4 with August 2017 security patch

Resurrection Remix v5.8.4 is currently rolling out with latest August 2017 security patch level. However, the update comes to a select few devices at the moment including the OnePlus 5, OnePlus 3/3T, HTC 10, and some Nexus devices like 6P, 5X.OnePlus 5. The OTA update can easily be downloaded for Android devices running on the previous Resurrection Remix 5.8.3. We have also seen similar update for yet another custom ROM called Lineage OS 14.1.

The August 2017 security patch comes with many vulnerability and bug fixes, system stability, optimizations for the Nexus and Google Pixel phones. For what we know from the change log, the new RR 5.8.4 is a small OTA update to the Navbar which was left in landscape support. It also improves the pulse on left Navbar. Most importantly, the ROM is based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat.

Google is going to release the official stable Android O somewhere around mid of August. Once that is available, it will soon be available for other non-Google Android phones with a new Resurrection Remix 6.0. Same will go for Lineage OS 15. It may take as long as one complete month from the date of official Android O release by Google.
