The Flyme 6 ROM is a Beta version. Meaning, it may come with some bugs or stability issues. You can also revert back to official Flyme 5 OS with the same procedure. Download latest official Flyme 5 full stock firmware from here. However, you will need to factory reset the phone if you already have Flyme 6 running on your phone.

How to update Meizu Android phones to Flyme 6 ROM?

• Before you move onto installing the Flyme 6 update, take a backup of the previous Flyme 5 from Settings>Backup phone> and select all the categories.
• Now transfer the Backup files to the PC.
• Download Flyme 6 full stock firmware file from above for your Meizu device.
• Transfer the update.zip file to internal storage of the phone.
• Keep the update file to the root of the storage. Meaning outside every folder.
• Now go to File Manage and simply tap on update.zip file.
• Tap on the Upgrade option on the next popup.
• Wait for the firmware upgrade to do its thing.
• Reboot to system.
