The Sprint HTC 10 is being updated to Android 7.0 Nougat firmware with a new build number 2.42.651.6. Earlier this month, the T-Mobile carrier rolled out a Nougat OTA update with build number the 2.37.531.5. Sprint carrier has now stepped into releasing a newer Android v7.0 OTA update for the stunning HTC 10. This brings the January 2017 security patch level from AOSP and also features some system enhancements to make the device, even more, powerful.

Besides the obvious Nougat goodies, the OTA update brings some battery optimization with Aggressive Doze Mode, better RAM management with performance improvements and a newer security patch. The OTA update weighs around 1.3 GB and is now live across the United States. In order to download the OTA, go to Settings>About and search for OTA in Software Updates.
