MIUI 8.2 for Xiaomi Mi Max (Prime) Mi 4i, 3, 4, Mi Note, Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 4G

Today, the major Chinese smartphone manufacturer – Xiaomi announced a major upgrade to a new MIUI version for most of the Mi and Redmi series devices. The next firmware from Xiaomi is the MIUI 8.2 which will come with new stunning features. The official release date of the MIUI 8 .2 is February 16, 2017 – which is tomorrow. Not much is know at the moment about the firmware update as all the features will be announced tomorrow.

Amidst all the users excited about the MIUI 9 which will supposedly bring the Android 7.0 Nougat firmware, MIUI 8.2 has come as a surprise. Moreover, the MIUI 9 rumors may prove us wrong and the MIUI 8.2 may bring the Android 7.0 Nougat update to Xiaomi. So stay tuned and we will be posting all about the new update tomorrow. This will bring MIUI 8.2 Global Stable ROM as well as the China stable ROM; which will follow next.
