Downlaod and Install Galaxy S7 Edge Beta 6 Final ZPLN OTA and Nougat G935FXXU1DPLR

Samsung has already released the Android 7.0 Nougat Beta firmware for the two stunning flagship smartphones viz, Galaxy S7 SM-G930F and S7 Edge SM-G935F devices. The new firmware is now known as Samsung Experience 8, and not TouchWiz, anymore. As you can see, the Nougat firmware is just for the international variants. Moreover, the OTA updates can be installed via Samsung Beta Program app only and the recruitment for testers has already ended. However, there is still one way for you to install the final G935FXXU1ZPLN Android 7.0 Nougat Beta firmware onto your Galaxy S7 (Edge). XDA member, ambasadii, has created a custom ROM based on the final Beta firmware G935FXXU1ZPLN for the two devices. It is pre-rooted, Busybox installed, Viper4A, Knox disabled, and much more.

Other variants like the AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon Galaxy S7 (Edge), along with international variant, shall receive the official stable OTA in January with the January 1, 2017 security patches. The custom ROM is only for the SM-G9350F and SM-G930F and takes your device to the final ZPLN Nougat OTA update.

Moreover, the official stable Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy S7 (Edge) have started hitting devices in some regions with a new firmware build number G935FXXU1DPLR. Though there were rumors of the official Nougat to come with Android 7.1.1, this PLR update is based on 7.0 Nougat.

How to Install Android 7.0 Nougat Beta Final OTA on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge via TWRP recovery?

This guide will install TWRP via Odin software and then flash the final Beta 6 Nougat custom ROM onto your device. First, download the required file from the download section S7 Nougat ROM, encryption zip, and TWRP. Now transfer the file to your device’s internal storage or SDCard. Place the TWRP on PC. Follow the steps to successfully flash the ROM.

Step 1: Make sure you have TWRP setup on your Galaxy S7 (Edge). Download latest TWRP and see how to flash via Odin.

Step 2: Download file and transfer the file to storage or memory card.

Step 3: Make sure you have ‘enable OEM unlock’ from Developer Options. This is important to proceed.

Step 4: Reboot into the bootloader or Odin mode. To do so, turn your phone off completely and press the volume down, home and power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.

Step 5: Run/open Odin software on your PC and connect your Galaxy device to your computer.

Step 6: Click on AP and flash the TWRP. For a full tutorial, get here.

Step 7: Now reboot into the TWRP recovery. It’s recommended that you create a backup from TWRP.

Step 8: Now wipe partitions like data, cache, system , Dalvik-cache.

Step 9: Go home and tap “Install” and flash the file

Step 10: Reboot phone to recovery mode once more and wipe the necessary partitions again.

Step 11: Similarly, install the Nouagat ROM file.

Step 12: Reboot to system.
