Install Nexus October 5 Nougat Security Patch NRD91D/NBD90X-W | Nexus 6 & 9 gets NBD90Z Nougat

Google is now updating its Nexus series with the latest October 5, 2016, security patch level. The update is still Android 7.0 Nougat and not the upcoming Android 7.1, possibly the build number NDE63B/NDE63H, which will be released with the new Google Pixel and Pixel XL phones. Google started releasing the Nougat update to Nexus just last month and we have seen a lot of Android 7.0 custom ROMS hitting various Android devices in the form of custom ROMS like CyanogenMod 14 and AOSP ROMS. However now, the Nexus series along with the Pixel C have been receiving new security level updates taking their build number to NBD90X. To our surprise, the Nexus 6 has now been updated the official Android version 7.0. Update: Google Pixel and Pixel XL factory image and OTA zip files now available for download with Android 7.1.0 Nougat 7.1.0 NDE63P. Moreover, Nexus 9 LTE receives latest Android 7.0 Nougat OTA update with September 6, AOSP security patch level with build NRD90R. So did Nexus 6 with build NBD90Z. Download now.
The firmware build number NBD90X comes to the Nexus 6P, whereas, the Nexus 5X receives build NBD90W. The Pixel C has also seen an upgrade to NRD91D along with Nexus 9 (WiFi) and the Nexus Player. The official Nougat firmware build NBD90Z for Nexus 6 is live right now on Google’s servers. Moreover, the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7 (WiFi/LTE) still remain on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The update comes to us in the form of OTA zip files and full factory images.
Google has now planned to release two new devices named Google Pixel and the Pixel XL which were formerly claimed to be Nexus Marlin and Sailfish.
