As we posted earlier, the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware for the US carrier device T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900T is now available and we already have the full firmware file available for download. The Odin flashable firmware comes with the build number G900TUVU1GPE1 and brings the latest Android version to the device. This is a great deal for all the Galaxy S5 users. Moreover, as the TWRP recovery for the T-Mobile variant is available and Chainfire, the developer behind the Super User functionality, has now supported the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware, root is now possible for the same. Hence, the T-Mobile Galaxy S5 can now be rooted in no time with the latest SuperSU v2.74 and the new TWRP build 3.0.0. This method works for almost any firmware be it Marshmallow PE1 or the Lollipop OJ4, OL1. All you need to do is flash the TWRP via Odin and then flash the SuperSU zip file through the custom recovery. Now if you are just looking for root and not the TWRP, then CF-Auto-Root is the best way to achieve it. Also, keep a copy of TWRP onto your PC. Follow the sequence to successfully flash the ROM. Also, from Developer options enable USB debugging and enable Allow mock locations as well.

Step 1: Reboot into the bootloader or Odin mode on your S5 device. To do so, turn your phone off completely and press the volume down, home and power buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.
