A new incremental OTA update is available for the One Plus for its official Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware from CyanogenMod community that goes by the name Cyanogen OS and the version 13 is the latest one. However, now, the CyanogenMod community, has pushed another incremental OTA update towards OnePlus One. This new release will take OnePlus One to build number ZNH0EAS2JK vs the ZNH0EAS26M that was released earlier this month. Check out the COS 13 images from our Pinterest account.
In order to apply this incremental OTA update, you need to setup stock recovery on your OnePlus One. If you are running custom TWRP recovery, then you need to return to stock recovery (Link in the download section). To do so, make sure “Update CM-Recovery” is enabled in developer options. Also, make sure “/system/recovery-from-boot.p” has not been renamed by TWRP. If it is, rename it to the original one. Finally, Reboot once and the Stock recovery will automatically be flashed during the boot process. (TWRP renames that file to recovery-from-boot.bak, so it won’t get replaced by stock recovery at every boot. Just rename it back to recovery-from-boot.p) Alternatively, if you have a full factory image of the Cyanogen OS, then extract it and flash each file using Fastboot method. Use this tutorial for reference –how to install factory images. Also, in order to go to revert back to stock Cyanogen OS firmware, it is wise to flash the Cyanogen OS 12.1 from this tutorial: How to Restore back to stock Cyanogen OS 12.1 on OnePlus One.
