One UI 6.1 Global Rollout Begins for Galaxy S22 Series, S21 Series, and Foldables, and Galaxy Tablets in Europe and United States

The last time we reported One UI 6.1 rollout for the Galaxy S22 series, S21 series, and the Galaxy Foldable series, the Galaxy AI update was put on hold due to a serious bug that caused some devices to soft brick. The update was also only available in South Korea. The global rollout has begun with European countries to receive it first including Greece, the UK, Germany.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series launch event showcased all the new Galaxy AI features in collaboration with Google. The Galaxy S24 has new features in One UI 6.1 firmware called Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translator, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, and AI-generated wallpaper.

Samsung later released a list of devices to receive One UI 6.1 starting May 2024. Looks like Samsung is keeping their promise with One UI 6.1 firmware update global rollout happening right now for the following devices:

• Galaxy S22
• Galaxy S22+
• Galaxy S22 Ultra
• Galaxy S21 Series
• Galaxy S21+
• Galaxy S21 Ultra
• Galaxy S21 FE (available now)
• Galaxy Z Fold 4
• Z Flip 4
• Galaxy Tab S8 series (available now)
• Galaxy Z Fold 3 (later this month)
• Z Flip 3 (later this month)

Users Affectionate-Taste83, Eliteclarity, and Panagiotisem reported One UI 6.1 for their S21 Ultra, Z Fold 4, and Galaxy S22 respectively.

Samsung will be rolling out One UI 6.1 in other regions including Europe, North America, and Asian countries starting as soon as tomorrow.

How to update Samsung Galaxy to One UI 6.1?

Simply visit Settings > Software update and tap on Download and install on your Samsung device.

You can also download the latest firmware file directly from Samsung Servers and flash it manually using Odin tool.
