What is Galaxy Enhance-X?
Last year, Samsung released a brand new app called the Galaxy Enhance-X. It is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Photo Upscaler and Editor focusing on enhancing your photos with a single tap.
Samsung Enhance-X features several AI tools like Fix Blur, HDR, Brighten, Fix Blur, and Sharpen. Under the More tab, you get Fix Moire, Remove Reflection, Remove Shadows, Fix lens distortion, Face Enhancements, and Portrait options
One of the main features of the app is its ability to analyze an image for imperfections and enhance it to a higher quality. This is done through machine learning that can repair and enhance any image stored in the gallery.
Users can remove unwanted blur, reflections, and other imperfections, as well as sharpen and upscale resolution, improve dynamic range, and brighten photos captured in low lighting conditions.
Another great feature of the app is that it saves both the original photo and the enhanced photo in the gallery in JPEG format. This means that users can easily compare the original and enhanced versions side by side, and choose which one they want to keep.
Users simply need to select the photo they want to enhance within the Galaxy Enhance-X app, tap the option they want, and the app will do the rest.
Once you import an image, you also get options like Fix blur, HDR, Brighten, Fix Blur, and Sharpen. Under More tab, you get Fix Moire, Remove Reflection, Remove Shadows, Fix lens distortion, Face Enhancements, and Portrait options.’
Most importantly, if you click the Magic button at the bottom, it will automatically apply enhancements using AI.
This is best if you want to tweak photos captured from Samsung’s Expert Raw camera app. Expert Raw gives photographers a way of accessing the uncompressed data of an image (called RAW), straight from the camera sensor.
