A new major Android Auto 9.2 beta update is now available for download on all smartphone and car display units. The most anticipated Android Auto Coolwalk user interface is already available globally to a large number of devices on the stable and beta channel. Several users have reportedly received the new Coolwalk UI with Android Auto 8.9 version or later.
Today’s Android Auto 9.2 beta update brings some exciting features, stability improvements, and bug fixes.
The update added one important feature that lets you change the layout of the split screen. The two options include:
- Media closer to driver
- Navigation closer to driver
You can do this from your phone or directly from the car display.
