Official Samsung One UI 5 Upgrade Schedule

Samsung just pushed the stable One UI 5 firmware upgrade for the flagship Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra across the globe including the Exynos and Snapdragon variants in the USA. While concurrently running the One UI beta program for several Samsung devices including the Galaxy S21 series, Fold series, Flip series, and the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series. Here is the official One UI 5 upgrade schedule based on Android 13.

We have all seen the One UI (Android 13) rollout schedule surfacing across the internet. However, that was just a generic list of devices that didnโ€™t come from Samsung. Here you will find the real rollout schedule.

How do we know that? The list missed many Galaxy devices that were eligible for the upgrade โ€” for instance, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G; which is quite a popular device. Plus, Samsung just put out a notice in the Samsung Members app with the full list of devices eligible for Android 13 ad the time slot as well.

Most devices should be updated to Android 13 from December 2022 to April 2023.

List of Samsung Galaxy devices eligible for One UI 5.0 (Android 13)

Samsungโ€™s official One UI 5 rollout schedule includes smartphones from the A-series like A03, A04, A12, A13, A22, A23, A32, A51, A52, A71, A72, A73, and more.

The list also includes all the Galaxy Z Fold, and Z Flip devices. Galaxy S10 Lite is the only device from the S10 series that made its way to Android 13, as it was released in 2020. All the S20 series devices including the S20 FE will receive One UI 5 in December 2022.

The popular M-series device include Galaxy M12, M31, M22, M23, M32, M33, M52, M53, M62, and many more.

Earlier this year, Samsung also released a blogpost where they promised 4 years of Android OS upgrades and 5 years of security upgrades for several Galaxy devices. This included devices released with or after theย Galaxy S21 series.

Eligible Galaxy devices include with four years of One UI and five years of security updates:

  • Galaxy S Series: Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra as well as Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S21 FE and upcoming S series devices
  • Galaxy Z Series: Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3 and upcoming Z series devices
  • Galaxy Tablets: Galaxy TabS8S8+, S8 Ultra and upcoming Tab S series devices
  • Galaxy Watch: Galaxy Watch4, Galaxy Watch4 Classic and upcoming Galaxy Watch series devices

The update will be released across the globe with countries like Germany, India, the UK receiving it first followed by several European countries, and the United States depending on the network carriers for locked devices.
