Samsung Galaxy S22 series gets stable One UI 5.0 update in the United States [Download Full Stock Firmware]

Earlier this month, Samsung released the fifth and final One UI 5 beta update for the flagships – Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra. Later released the final stable One UI 5 firmware update just a few days ago across the globe including European Exynos variants and the Indian Snapdragon variants. Today, the biggest telecom T-Mobile released Android 13 for the S22 series for the locked and unlocked variants.

Software update for the United States variants is dependent on the carriers. So even if Samsung released One UI 5 firmware update, the network carriers have to adopt it first. Fortunately, T-Mobile was quick at releasing One UI 5 stable update today for the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra for both – locked and unlocked variants.

The firmware build number for T-Mobile S22 series with model SM-S90xU is S90xUSQU2BVJA. The OTA is over 3 GB in size. The full stock firmware can go up to 8 GB in size.

The Snapdragon S22 variants in the USA can download the update right away by visiting Settings > System Updates > Download OTA updates manually.

A new Connected devices menu is included where you can access all features such as Quick Share, Smart View and Samsung DeX.

Download One UI 5 full stock firmware directly from Samsung Servers

One UI 5 comes with firmware build number BVJA for the global or Exynos Galaxy S22 series as well as the Snapdragon variants in USA and India.

The easiest way to download One UI 5 for Galaxy S22, S22 Ultra, S22+ is by visiting settings > system update > download updates manually. You can also download the full stock One UI 3.0 firmware updates using SamFirm tool or the Firja Tool and install via Odin Flashtool.

You can use the SamFirm (Samsung Firmware Downloader) tool and the newly added Frija (also a Samsung Software Downloader) in order to download the full stock firmware directly from Samsung Severs.

• Go to About Phone under Settings on your S22 device and note the model number (SM-S908U) for Galaxy S22 Ultra. Refer to the table below.
• Find the CSC code for your Galaxy S22 phone from here. Also known as a region or product code. In this case, we are using TMB for T-Mobile and Android 13.
• Input the model number and region code.
• Select or check the Auto box.
• Also, check decrypt automatically box.
• Hit check updates option.
• Once the details are shown, hit the download button.
