Google’s annual I/O Developer conference just concluded a couple of days ago wherein the company unveiled a range of products. The Pixel 6a is the entry-level model in the Pixel 6 series and is powered by Google’s top Tensor processor. Here, download all the latest Pixel 6a wallpapers.
Pixel 6a is the cheapest and smaller in the series. It fits a 6.1-inch display and is still the smallest in the Pixel 6 series. It has a few design tweaks and downgrades in order to decrease the starting price of the phone. However, it still looks the same as its premium siblings, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.
The Pixel 6a has a 2,340 x 1,080-pixel FHD+ OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It’s worth mentioning that this is Google’s first inexpensive phone featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is also used on the screen; same as the Pixel 5a from last year.
As for the body and structure, the phone features a recyclable aluminum frame. A polycarbonate backplate is used instead of glass and metal. The side rails are matte black, a step down from the Pixel 6 series.
Despite being positioned as a mid-range alternative to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, the Pixel 6a is powered by Google’s premier Tensor processor. It also features the Titan M2 security coprocessor, making it one of the most secure Android phones available.
The top-notch Google Tensor SoC is supported by 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage, as well as a 4,306mAh battery with quick charging capability. When utilizing the Extreme Battery Saver mode, Google claims that the phone may last up to 72 hours on a single charge.
Unfortunately, Google ditched the 3.5mm headphone port for the Pixel 6A for the first time. However, the phone has an IP67 water and dust-resistant certification.
The back camera system is a significant drop from the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro’s main 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN1 sensor. Pixel 6a is fitted with 12.2-megapixel wide-angle and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera lenses at the rear, possibly Sony IMX363 and IMX386 sensors respectively. An 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 selfie camera is housed in the centrally located punch-hole notch on the front.
