Download OnePlus 6 and 6T’s New OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 2 Based On Android 11

Just a few days ago, OnePlus released Android 11 HotFix update for the OnePlus 6 series. This came with the ongoing OxygenOS 11 based Open Beta program. The popular OnePlus 6 series already received OxygenOS 11 via first beta program. However, that was soon put on hold due to several bugs and user scrutiny. Here is the second Open Beta OTA update for OnePlu 6 and 6T which seems to be quite stable on face value.

Open Beta 2 seems to be a stable update as it is a small incremental OTA update with a few critical bug fixes and system improvements. The first and foremost is optimization to the overheating of the device. Fixed a critical issue with the OnePlus camera where the captured images won’t save. It also enhanced the connectivity of 5G WiFi.

For those of you who haven’t upgraded to Android 11 on their OnePlus 6 series phones, Open Beta 2 may be the closest to a stable firmware. So download and install OxygenOS 11 based Open Beta 2 for OnePlus 6 and 6T.

Download OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus 6 and 6T based on Android 11

Download and install latest Oxygen OS 11 Open Beta 2 from below:

First, download and install the previous Oxygen OS 11 Open Beta 1 HotFix from below:

• OnePlus 6 Open Beta 1 HotFix (Full OTA) (direct link)
• OnePlus 6T Open Beta 1 HotFix (Full OTA) (direct link)

Now, once you have upgraded to Open Beta 1 (HotFix), go to Settings > System Updates > Check for OTA update in order to get the Over-The-Air update.
