One UI 4.0 Release Date: Samsung Android 12 Update Schedule

The stable Android 12 firmware update is expected to go live at the end of August, according to Googleโ€™s timeline. Google is currently undergoing Android beta program. Samsung, unlike other device-makers, does not participate in Googleโ€™s beta programs.

That is until after Google releases the stable version, we may see Samsung rolling out its own OneUI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy devices.

So you may expect Android 12 for Samsung Galaxy devices in August 2021. This also includes some mid-range and budget smartphones like the Galaxy M21 and Galaxy A51. However, it may take a while for these device to receive it as Samsung has just begun to carry out One UI 3.1 firmware. So you may expect One UI 4.0 for Galaxy A-series and M-series by the end of 2022.

Also, if Google delays the stable Android 12 rollout to September, then Samsung users can expect to see the One UI 4.0 beta program for the Galaxy S21 series after a month.

A stable version of One UI 4.0 may go live for its 2021 flagships in December. If not earlier, most other models will get the update within the next three to four months.
