Asus ROG Phone 3 Android 11 Beta Program Started

Mobile gaming has become much popular throughout these years; especially after the release of a bunch of great titles like PUBG, Fortnite, and more. In order to compete, manufacturers also started releasing gaming smartphones such as the popular Asus ROG Phone. While Asus does not have a good track record when it comes to Android OS updates for its phones, the flagship ROG Phone 3 just received Android 11 beta program starting today.

The ROG Phone 3 launched with Android 10 out of the box with a custom ROG UI fine tuned for gaming performance. With Android 11, Asus is aiming at improved gaming experience on the ROG 3. While it was clear that ROG Phone 3 will certainly receive latest Android 11 firmware update, but we didn’t know why.

Today, Asus started the first beta program for the ROG Phone 3 featuring Android 11. Some users have reported that the beta program started today. While there is now beta registration as of now, we will certainly put the Android 11 beta OTA download link here. So stay tuned!

The Asus ZenFone 6 went through rigorous Android 11 beta testing before finally getting a stable Android 11 update. We can expect something similar with the Asus ROG Phone 3.
