Samsung Galaxy S20 series gets Android 11 based on One UI 3.0-min

Samsung recently ended the One UI 3.0 beta program for the Samsung Galaxy S20 and the Note 20 series phones for both the international Exynos variant and the Snapdragon variant in North America. Stable Android 11 OTA is already rolling out in Europe, the United States, and some Asian countries as well. Canada and Australia are always the last regions to get software updates. Today, all the carriers in Canada and Australia have released stable One UI 3.0 firmware update based on Android 11.

Due to carrier restrictions, the software updates for Snapdragon variants (in US and Canada) always get a little delayed. While the manufacturer just rolled out a stable OneUI 3.0 firmware update for the Exynos variants, here are carriers in Canada doing the same with carriers like Telus, EastLink, Bell, Koodo Mobile, SaskTel, and more. This also includes the Australian variant.

Stable One UI 3.0 OS update is currently rolling available for download for the Galaxy S20 (SM-G981B and SM-G981W), Galaxy S20+ (SM-G986B and SM-G986W), and S20 Ultra (SM-G988B) with build numbers G981BXXU5CTKG for the Australian variant and G981WVLU1CTKI for the Canadian variant. As for Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, (SM-N981U), the build numbers are the same.

The latest One UI 3.0 firmware update features Android 11 and all of its goodies including powerful device controls and easier ways to manage conversations and your privacy. Some of the new features include improved device & media controls, manage your conversations in one place, built-in screen recording, more privacy controls.

On top of that, the OTA brings One UI 3.0 exclusive features and updated Samsung stock apps as well. This includes major visual design improvements, improved performance, and much more. Some of the notable features include Wireless Dex, cross-device calling and texting feature. With this feature, you can receive calls & texts from other devices like your Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. The easiest way is to download Android 11 for Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series is by visiting settings > system update > download updates manually.
