The regular Moto G7 and the G7 Plus starts receiving the most awaited Android 10 OTA update in the United States starting today. This is for the users on the unlocked variants of the Moto G7 series. This is regardless of the network carriers devices are on; T-Mobile, Sprint, and even the Amazon variants are getting Android 10. No news for the carrier locked variants as of now. Simply go to settings -> About Phone -> System updates and download Android 10 OTA now.
Earlier last month, the Moto G7 series reportedly received the same for the EU variants, the UK, and some Asian countries including India. Looks like the phased rollout has finally hit worldwide. We have also reported Android 10 for the Moto G7 Play and Moto G7 Power listed below. So this covers the entire Motorola’s 7th generation lineup. Moreover, there may never be an Android 11. Android 10 for Moto G7 features all the new goodies including dark mode, new gesture navigation, privacy control and a newer April 2020 security patch level.
