OnePlus 8 Pro X-Ray Vision camera filter removed in Oxygen OS 10.5.9 update

The latest flagship OnePlus, the 8 Pro, launched just last month and is already on sale in some regions including the United States and some countries in Europe. The OnePlus 8 series launched with Android 10 out of the box with latest Oxygen OS 10.5 version and some exclusive features too. However, the one feature that caught everyone’s attention is the new X-Ray Vision camera filter. Yes, the 4th camera in OnePlus 8 Pro is a color filter camera that can see through certain objects like thin plastic, and even clothes. A little obscure but seemingly clear for certain objects. Well unfortunately, that camera filter is going away with the latest Oxygen OS 10.5.9 OTA update.
Apart from performance, the OnePlus 8 Pro is advertised as a camera phone that comes with top-notch hardware and software specifications; and sure enough it does deliver. The 8 Pro features quad camera setup at the rear with one main camera, a telephoto lens with 3x zoom, Ultrawide lens, and a Color Filter camera. This 4th camera has a color filter called “Photochrom” that can see through certain objects like clothing and plastic. Popularly known as X-Ray vision camera.
In order to access this X-Rav Vision camera filter, first launch the stock OnePlus camera app on your Oneplus 8 Pro. On the top right corner you will see a filter option. Click on it. Choose the last option called Photochrom filter. Point at an object like a remote or TV box, or certain clothing.
