If you haven’t heard already, the official Call of Duty Mobile global release date is set to October 1, 2019. This is great news as you wouldn’t need a VPN to play the game anymore. The closed beta program successfully ended yesterday with lots of feedback from users and participants across the globe. Now, the developers of Call of Duty Mobile believe that the game is all set for an official stable release starting next month. So download the latest update of Call of Duty Mobile (CODM v1.0.8) APK and OBB files from below and be the first to play the game as soon as the servers are live globally.
The CODM v1.0.8 is the official build that will launch on the first of October across the globe. It features numerous bug fixes, improvements to the gameplay, and optimizations to various modes like the Multiplayer and Battle Royale. The COD Mobile version 8 is a big patch that weighs over 500 MB in size from the previous beta 6 version. But if you haven’t installed previous version yet, then you will need to download the complete APK and OBB file that weighs around 2 GB in total when extracted.

How to download Call of Duty from Google Play Store and Apple App Store?
Now, despite the Call of Duty Mobile official release, some users are still getting the pre-registration page on the Google Play Store. Here is a simple trick that will help skip the CODM registration page and download the latest official version on your Android phone. So what you need to do is clear the cache of the Play Store and force stop it.
- First, see if the new version of Play Store is officially available to you.
- If not, then go to your phone’s Settings > Apps.
- Search for Google Play Store.
- Tap on it and select storage option.
- Clear cache. (Don’t clear data!)
- Launch the Play Store app and search Call of Duty Mobile.
- Install the game.
Alternatively, download the Call of Duty Mobile from Google Chrome browser. If you desperately need to play the game right away, then search for “Call of Duty Mobile play store” from Google Chrome from your desktop PC or mobile device. the first result should be the Play Store link. Click that, open in chrome, sign in with your Google account, and hit install! The game will automatically start downloading on your mobile.
