Update September 04, 2019: OnePlus 6 and 6T devices now receiving latest Open Beta 25 and beta 17 OTA update with the Pre-Android 10 OTA update. The oneplus 6 and 6T receive a swel little OTA update on the Oxygen OS open beta firmware. The only purpose of this update is to optimize the system performance and prepare for major upcoming updates. This only means one thing.  Android 10! The previous Open Beta 24/16 featured August 2019 security patch, QualPwn vulnerability fix, and Zen Mode from the latest Oxygen OS 9.5 from OnePlus 7 Pro.

Updated: OnePlus 6 and 6T devices now receiving latest Open Beta 23 and beta 15 respectively. The latest Oxygen OS beta OTA features new screen recorder features, brand new UI for OnePlus laboratory, bug fixes for weather app, latest July 2019 security patch update, and fixed issues with the camera while using quick reply in landscape mode. We also get new File Manager, OnePlus widgets and switch apps. The previous Open Beta 21 and beta 13 already brought several Oxygen OS 9.5 featured from OnePlus 7 (Pro) based on Android 9 Pie. These features include built-in screen recorder, Digital Wellbeing, Fnatic Gaming Mode, added FPS option for recording effects, and much more.

The manufacturer did promise that Oxygen OS 9.5 and all of its features will be ported to the previous generation flagship phones. Today, the OnePlus 6 and 6T are receiving two new features – Digital Wellbeing in the settings app, and the brand new Fnatic gaming mode; found in OnePlus 7 Pro. The Digital Wellbeing can be accessed via Settings app after the update. Moreover, once you launch any game, Fnatic mode will be activated instantly, and you can tweak all sorts performance settings as per your device. So download and install latest Open Beta 20 for OnePlus 6 and beta 12 for the 5T.

This OTA is quite big as it also packs the latest June 2019 Android security patch. It weighs around 350 MB in size. We have listed the full stock firmware below, in case your device is running on the stable OxygenOS channel. Simply grab the full ROM zip from below and perform a local upgrade.
