Updated: Open Beta 13 now available for download for the OnePlus 6. It features added OnePlus Laboratory app, gaming mode enhancements, optimizations for screenshot, and most importantly, support for quick reply in landscape mode. You can now easily reply to new messages when watching videos.

We have seen many updates for the OnePlus 6 under the Open Beta channel. The latest one we have now is the Oxygen OS Open Beta 9 for the OnePlus 6. It features the latest December 2018 security patch level. Looking at the changelog, the new beta update is a small upgrade over the previous. This one brings some system optimizations such as added toast message when parallel apps are unavailable due to data corruption. Moreover, for the phone app, we see added call history for incoming calls from unknown numbers, optimized UI for spam messages and calls.

The most important update comes to OnePlus Switch app that now supports migrating data from Apple iPhones. The previous Open Beta 8 brought new Audio tuner support for Type-C and Bluetooth earphones, video enhancer feature, OnePlus Roaming feature, new and improved Oxygen OS UI from the OnePlus 6T Launcher, NightScape for stock camera, new Oneplus gesture navigation. and not to forget the official Android 9 Pie update that first came with Open Beta and later to the Oxygen OS with v 9.0.
