How to update Xiaomi Poco F1 to MIUI 10 Global Stable [Android 8.1 Oreo]

Xiaomi’s PocoPhone has been making news due to its buggy software. The manufacturer, Xiaomi, is trying hard to fix these bugs and bring about the best performance to the Poco F1. The MIUI 9 firmware that came with the device out of the box has several issue and Xiaomi pushed several OTA updates along its way. Soon after, Xiaomi started enrolling users for the MIUI 10 beta program and the users were quite happy about it. Now, the beta program has ended and we have MIUI 10 Global Stable ROM for the Pocophone.

The MIUI 10 ROM fixes several problems for the POCO F1. It brings about battery drain issue fix, performance improvements, touch latency fix, camera improvements, and much more. It features the newer Security Patch level from AOSP sources. The firmware is, however, still based on Android 8.1 Oreo and not the latest Android Pie. We have listed MIUI 10 Global Stable OTA for Xiaomi POCO F1 users here in the downloads section below. So you can easily sideload it to your device without wiping data.

We also have the leaked closed beta MIUI 10 ROM based on Android 9.0 Pie for POCO F1. However, the update is a beta build and may come with bugs at the moment. Also, it is a full ROM so you will need to wipe data before switching between Android 8.1 Oreo or 9.0 Pie.

Remind you that this is the Global Stable ROM and can be easily installed using the updater app with the OTA link. Moreover, it is recovery ROM. So you can easily update your Poco F1 to MIUI 10 using Mi Updater app on your phone.

Alternatively, you can simply grab the full stock firmware zip and flash it using Mi Flash Tool or the built-in Mi Updater app. For this you will need to use the full stock firmware zip. You can upgrade from MIUI 9 global stable or MIUI 10 Beta to the MIUI 10 global stable. But doing so will erase all your data. So backup!
