Android 8.0 Oreo OnePlus

Download and install Oxygen OS 5.0.3 for OnePlus 5T/5 based on Android 8.0 Oreo

OnePlus 5T is now receiving a new Oxygen OS 5.0.3 based firmware update. It is based on Android 8.0 Oreo OS and brings a lot to the plate. You will see a new OnePlus Launcher v2.2, new Gallery v2.0, updated Weather app v1.9, and finally a new File Manager v1.7.6. All these apps can be found on the Google Play Store. This is the first Android 8.0 Oreo build for the OnePlus 5T. While rest of the devices from OnePlus are already on the latest Oreo update, the flagship also receives the same. So download and install the Oxygen OS 5.0.3 for OnePlus 5T and 5.

Oxygen OS 5.0.3 is the first Oreo-based build for OnePlus 5T. The device is also confirmed to receive Android 8.1 firmware update as well. However, it may take a little longer for the phone to get 8.1 Oreo. Moving onto the latest OxygenOS 5.0.3 for OnePlus 5T, it comes with a new design for Quick Settings. Not much is given in the update log except for some general bug fixes and improvements. The most important feature is the CPU security patch: CVE-2017-13218.

This makes it a must-have upgrade for the OnePlus 5T users who were desperately waiting for some Oreo sweetness. On the contrary, OnePlus 5 is receiving a similar upgrade with OxygenOS 5.0.2. It is the same update but OnePlus 5 is already on Oreo. So it just brings the new features. We have captured the full firmware files from below. Also, see the installation instructions.
