It seems Android 8.0 Oreo is marking its presence everywhere. Two months since it’s release, many devices still waiting for their turn to have a bite of the Oreo. To add to the excitement, now Android 8.1 Oreo Developer Preview has been rolled out for Nexus and Pixel devices. Although custom ROMs did manage to find their ways to different devices, but still nothing like the official version of Android 8.0 Oreo. Now slowly rollout is going to begin for different devices. One such device is Samsung Galaxy S8 for which Oreo rollout is being eagerly awaited. Well good news for Galaxy S8(plus) owners of US. There is a Galaxy Beta Program for rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo for Galaxy S8 (plus) for the US variants.
This Galaxy Beta program is exclusive for Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices only. It will initiate on 31st October 2017. This will bring the Android 8.0 Oreo to the said devices. Also, it is worth noting that there will be 7500 spots available for availing Android 8.0 Oreo both of the variants. It may seem like a big number but it is very less considering the popularity and user base of Galaxy S8 (plus).
According to a tipster, The Beta Software Will Open On October 31st To Provide More Stable Software.
Now let’s see what are the conditions that a device must hold to be able to be a part of the Beta Program.
