Following the original Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge firmware update, the bigger Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus variant (SM-G928C) has started receiving the official Android 7.0 Nougat G928CXXU3CQC7 build. The new Nougat update brings an Android OS upgrade, of course, and also dawns the latest Grace UX called Samsung Experience. The OTA update also brings improvements to the Notification and quick settings features, a new Multi-window functionality, setting menu, and an addition of the Samsung pass feature. The overall speed and performance of the system and apps can also be seen.

Similar to the Note 5, the Turkey is the first device to receive the Android 7.0 build for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ as well. This will soon follow other regions like Vietnam, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Morocco, Tunisia, South Africa, Iran, and much more. This Nougat for S6 Edge+ features the latest March 1, 2017, security patch level from AOSP.
