YouTube just recently took the most controversial decision and removed the dislike count from all YouTube videos for everyone. 3. Too confusing. I couldn’t open anything with Load Unpacked, but had the zip downloaded, and in the correct folder it did
not find the zip and I don’t even know what a API Key is…I am a viewer but have not uploaded anything yet. Also on a site only focusing on the app version, to bring back dislikes, a guy with broken english stated in the comments there that on December 13 even this API thing will be stopped. Tried to search for more information but did not find anything but I heard that. I am right now on a PC using chrome, but also have Opera and Edge. To not clutter myself didn’t download more browsers. I perfer Opera but Chrome is needed to cast desktop to TV and to use.

  4. YouTube is fully removing the ability to access dislikes through their API on December 13th. Therefore, this extension and any other similar extension will most probably be unable to continue operating. There are alternate extensions which will aim to estimate the dislike count past December 13th.

  5. I followed the steps exactly, but dislikes still won’t appear. Even after refreshing and re-opening my browser, it still doesn’t work. I’m on Opera GX.

  6. Holy S**t it worked & Thank you so much, if only youtube didn’t go full r*tard none of this would happen
