An eagerly awaited Battle Royale mobile game “PUBG” seems to be launched in the near future. Soon after the Ban of PUBG Mobile in India, Krafton has cut its ties with Tencent and started returning to the Indian market.

Over the past months, we have seen several teasers, rumors, and reports about the PUBG Mobile India launch. But finally, the wait is over for PUBG mobile lovers as Pre-registrations for Kraftons new game, Battlegrounds Mobile India, are open today(March 18, 2021).

It seems to be good news for all the PUBG Mobile lovers in India. This is because all the PUBG Mobile fans were disappointed and were forced to try other games but none of them were as exciting as PUBG Mobile.

Some fans even tried to use VPN to play the game but still failed to play. But now no more hassle, as the new game is officially here.

Everything About the Battleground Mobile India: Pre Registration and More

The South Korean video game holding company announced the game’s anticipated return to the Indian gaming community in a statement. A few days ago they released the trailer on their official Youtube channel.

According to Krafton, the Battlegrounds Mobile India release will come with exclusive in-game events like outfits and features. The new game will have its own esports ecosystem with big tournaments and leagues.

In several ways, the battle royale game is supposed to be identical to the original PUBG Mobile. However, minor variations in the Indian version of the game cannot be ruled out.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Features

Based on the trailer released on youtube we can see that the upcoming game will not be much different from its predecessor. Also, we can see the default player skin and the map seems to be the same as PUBG Mobile’s, and of course, the iconic Spetsnaz helmet is also there.

The Poster shared by the Battleground mobile teaser is more likely to be the  “Ban Tai” map location from Sanhok, one of the 4×4 maps available in-game. The Sanhok map was added to PUBG Mobile in September 2018 and will be a part of the new Battleground mobile India.

According to some leaks, it has been said that there will be less blood spilling in this version of the game and even the color of the blood will be green. Moreover, all the players will be in full clothes when they land in the game. Player information and data will now be stored within India and not on Chinese servers.

Why PUBG was banned?

As we know, the Indian government had banned PUBG Mobile India on September 2, 2020, due to data privacy concerns under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act. The reason that PUBG Mobile India was banned is because of the presence of the Chinese company Tencent. The main reason behind the ban was data and security concerns.

Now the company has broken ties with Tencent, so there might be no worries about the new game. As the PUBG was banned for the privacy of users, now the company will keep extra care for user’s data, security, and privacy.
